ZAGG approached us with a clear objective but no defined creative direction—they needed a way to communicate that their ISOD screen protectors could be applied to almost any device in a way that was visually engaging and memorable. The challenge was to craft a campaign that would stand out in retail environments while staying on-brand, bold, and playful.

The Challenge
With no set concept in place, we needed to create a campaign that immediately captured attention and communicated the versatility of ZAGG’s screen protection. The solution had to be fun, visually striking, and adaptable across digital out-of-home formats in multiple retail locations.
The Solution
I proposed a mascot-led approach, introducing Zaggy, a chocolate Labrador, as the campaign’s playful star. The idea was simple yet effective: people go to great lengths to protect their pets, but don’t give their tech the same level of care. Zaggy’s comedic shock at having a phone protector placed on him perfectly illustrated ZAGG’s “Protect Almost Anything” message. To bring Zaggy to life, I used AI-generated imagery to create a photorealistic dog with multiple facial expressions, allowing full creative control over the visuals. These assets were then refined in Photoshop and After Effects, where I composited and animated transitions to ensure the final execution was dynamic and high-impact.
The Result
The campaign was a huge success, creating eye-catching, engaging in-store activations that reinforced ZAGG’s brand positioning. The unique, AI-driven approach allowed for a level of creativity and originality that traditional photography couldn’t achieve, leading to three additional seasonal campaigns commissioned by the client.
