Overview
The goal was to harmonise the onboard café experience across the newly merged rail network, reinforcing Eurostar’s brand values while maintaining familiarity for existing passengers. By analysing customer expectations, operational logistics, and the new brand identity, I developed a strategic rollout plan covering key elements such as the café logo, menus, signage, and digital assets.

The Challenge
The primary challenge was ensuring a smooth and consistent transition without alienating existing Thalys or Eurostar customers. The onboard café needed to feel instantly recognisable under the new brand while remaining operationally practical and scalable across the train network.
The Solution
I created a detailed presentation that outlined a step-by-step implementation strategy, covering branding updates across digital screens, print materials, and onboard signage. My approach ensured that the café’s identity felt fresh yet familiar, aligning design, tone, and functionality to reinforce a seamless passenger experience.
The Result
The proposed solution provided a clear and effective roadmap for integrating the new Eurostar brand across onboard café services. By balancing brand consistency with practical execution, the presentation became a valuable framework for a smooth transition, ensuring passengers experienced a cohesive and engaging onboard journey post-merger.
