The project required high-impact visuals that could adapt to multiple screen sizes and formats, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for both live audiences and broadcast viewers. A key feature of the campaign was the LED-covered plinth, which added an extra layer of innovation and spectacle to the event presentation.

The Challenge

The challenge was to create cohesive animations that worked across a wide range of screen dimensions and resolutions, from massive stadium jumbotrons to unconventional LED placements. The LED plinth, in particular, required a custom animation approach to ensure a visually striking and synchronised display.

The Solution

I created a master asset showcasing the sponsored product, then produced a high volume of bespoke DOOH animations, meticulously optimised for varied stadium screen formats while ensuring brand consistency and high-energy visuals. Each animation was designed to cover every possible score combination and team outcome throughout the entire tournament. Additionally, I developed a custom animation sequence for the LED plinth, seamlessly integrating it into the broader digital display ecosystem, enhancing the event’s visual impact and overall spectator experience.

The Result

The animations were delivered and tested in-stadium ahead of schedule, successfully heightening the atmosphere of the Carabao Cup and providing a visually immersive experience that captivated both stadium audiences and viewers at home. The innovative LED plinth became a standout feature, showcasing cutting-edge event branding and reinforcing Carabao’s presence as a major sponsor.
