Overview
The BMW i3 Experience campaign aimed to enhance the appeal of electric mobility, shifting away from BMW’s traditionally monochrome, masculine identity toward a vibrant, modern, and engaging visual style. Meanwhile, the Black Friday campaign required high-impact social and digital content that could stand out in a crowded retail landscape, ensuring BMW maintained a strong presence during the competitive sales period.

The Challenge
BMW’s brand is synonymous with luxury, precision, and performance, but its traditional visual identity- dominated by silver, black, and minimalist styling- needed a refresh to appeal to a wider, more diverse audience on social. The challenge was to infuse energy and colour while maintaining BMW’s premium positioning and ensuring that the designs felt cohesive across digital and social platforms.
The Solution
I introduced bold, vibrant design elements that retained BMW’s premium feel while injecting a more playful and modern aesthetic. The BMW i3 Experience campaign featured bright, engaging visuals, aligning with BMW’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. For Black Friday, I created eye-catching social and digital assets, ensuring that BMW’s messaging stood out in a competitive seasonal market. I also designed and built email templates for BMW’s electric vehicle promotions, optimised for mobile and desktop, providing flexibility with both light and dark variations to maximise engagement.
The Result
The campaigns successfully broadened BMW’s visual identity, making the brand feel more dynamic, accessible, and forward-thinking, particularly in the EV market. The BMW i3 Experience helped reinforce BMW’s leadership in electric mobility, while the Black Friday campaign delivered high-impact digital engagement, ensuring BMW’s presence in a highly competitive retail period.
