The website needed to capture the essence of Aerstone, emphasising its two unique flavour profiles while maintaining high-end brand positioning. To bring the Scottish distillery’s story to life, I created a cinemagraph combining photography with moving elements like waves, clouds, and rain, adding depth and atmosphere to the digital experience.
The Challenge
The challenge was to create a visually rich, immersive experience that balanced premium quality with storytelling. The website had to showcase the whisky’s craftsmanship while feeling modern, engaging, and reflective of the brand’s heritage.
The Solution
I designed the website layouts in Sketch, ensuring a clean, elegant user experience that aligned with Aerstone’s branding. The cinemagraph, built in After Effects, added a dynamic, immersive touch, enhancing the brand’s sense of place and craftsmanship.

The final website successfully elevated Aerstone’s digital presence, delivering a premium, visually striking platform that reinforced the whisky’s heritage and quality, supporting its successful launch into the market.
